The above powerful words were spoken by our holy fathers, the Apostles, to make known the shared responsibility of both the priesthood and the congregation in serving the Kingdom of God.

Based on this same foundation, our church is actively engaged in nurturing new clergy and carrying out a wide range of development and service activities. By helping people grow spiritually, the Church strives to bring all into communion with God. Through this blessed mission, and with the cooperation of the faithful over the past two years, we have now reached the final stage of completing the construction of our two-story church building.

In general, the spiritual and community services provided by Calgary Debre Mihret St. Gabriel Cathedral have become a source of comfort and hope for many of our Ethiopian and Eritrean faithful. Going forward, with the continued support of the clergy, the spiritual administrative board, and the congregation, we will carry out our planned projects diligently, so that we may hand over a lasting legacy to the next generation.

May the goodness of God, the intercession of our Holy Mother, and the protection of the Archangel Gabriel never depart from us.
